Fifth 2026 import: U.S. quarterback Kolton Richards joins the Saints, stepping into the shoes of retired QB Patrick Dendtler.
Fifth import for 2026: Kolton Richards, a new quarterback from the U.S., bolsters the Saints' offense — taking over one of the most important positions on the field.
Richards steps into big shoes after the retirement of Patrick Dendtler. Both his playing qualities and his leadership presence on and off the field fit the Saints' philosophy. He works hard, spends serious time in the film room, and prepares meticulously for opponents.
