Legal

Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and only to the extent necessary.

General

The operators of this website treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations. The website can generally be used without actively entering personal data.

Where individual pages request data such as a name or email address, this is voluntary and used solely to process the respective request.

Data Controller

The party responsible for processing personal data on this website is the provider named in the imprint. Privacy-related inquiries can be sent informally to the contact details listed there.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the site is accessed, personal data — in particular the IP address, browser information, the referrer, and the timestamp of the request — may be transmitted to Vercel as far as required for the technical operation of the site. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).

As Vercel is based in the USA, this can result in personal data being transferred to a third country. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; the transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. In addition, Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Server Log Files

The hosting provider may automatically record technical access data, including browser type, browser version, operating system, referrer, hostname of the requesting machine, and timestamp of the request.

This information is not merged with other data sources. Subsequent review remains reserved where there is concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Cookies

The website does not use tracking or analytics cookies and does not embed any external scripts or services that would create a profile of user behavior.

If cookies are set, they serve technically necessary purposes only — for example, to store the selected language. Cookies can be deleted or generally blocked in the browser at any time.

Contact Form

When a message is sent via the contact form, the entered data (first and last name, email address, subject, message) is processed to handle the inquiry and delivered by email to the responsible contacts within the club. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

The data is only used to process the inquiry and is not passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. The data is stored only for as long as necessary to process the inquiry.

SSL Encryption

To protect confidential content, the site uses an encrypted connection. You can recognize this by the HTTPS address and the lock icon in your browser.

Security Notice

Despite technical protection, data transmission over the internet can have security gaps. Complete protection against third-party access is not technically guaranteed in every case.

Rights of Data Subjects

Where personal data is processed, the following rights apply: access to the data stored (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

Any consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, an informal message to the contact details listed in the imprint is sufficient.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

Independently of the above, there is the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for the club is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, poststelle@datenschutz.hessen.de.
